Trepidation
We approach everything with a little trepidation.
What’s going to happen?
What if it doesn’t work?
The thing is, if we don’t try we will never know.
That sense of fear is natural.
It heightens our senses and primes us for venturing into the unknown.
If we didn’t have the fear, we wouldn’t be perceptive to what could be from what we actually do.
If we write a paragraph, we can write one more.
If we add a new sound to a good idea it might improve it and it might make it worse.
Without having a go we will never know.
Every step we take into the unknown makes us braver.
Gives us the ability to move further down the rabbit hole.
To see what could happen.
To stop thinking about what might happen.
And make something happen.
We don’t know exactly what will be.
But we can keep practicing and see what is.
Each time we create something we move further along the path.
When you look back, you’ll be surprised at how far you’ve come.
And what a weird and wonky path it is that you’re travelling.
But that makes the story all the more interesting to tell.
